Gary Neville sees Manchester United attacking trio as lacking coordination.

Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville thinks his former team’s attacking trio lacks coordination after their 2-1 win over Aston Villa in the English Premier League on Sunday.

Rasmus Hojlund scored a goal to give the team the lead in the 17th minute, while Aston Villa equalized from Douglas Luiz in the 67th minute, but at the end of the game the Manchester United scored the winning goal from a header of substitute Scott McTominay.

Despite winning, Gary sees that the offensive trio of Rasmus Hojlund, Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho has not yet been connected. The game is good enough.

“The front three looks more settled – Hojlund, Rashford and Garnacho,” Gary told. “They’re better than they were but not great. what You haven’t seen any coordination or connection, they missed a lot of chances.” โปรโมชั่น ufabet

“They didn’t control the game. They were no better at possession than any other team. But you can play to win. They are a rather strange group. They only played certain parts of the game.”

With that being said, Neville did make clear that United are starting to turn the tide on their season and as a result the hopes of Champions League returning to Old Trafford next term are still alive. He added: “We are now at the business end of the season.

“It’s been so up and down for United. We are at the stage where they are six pointers. They could’ve been out of it but as they go over to those United fans, they go within five points and touching distance of being able to catch them [Villa].”

Ten Hag’s side now have until next Sunday to recover before they are in action again. With the Red Devils’s next outing coming in the form of another tricky away trip. This time, United meet Luton Town at Kenilworth Road.
